I won the lottery for the 256GB variant in the US, for what it’s worth. Otherwise, based on the community tracker, it’s about a 2:3 ratio of reservations to waitlists so far?

Don’t want to give anyone false hope, but I got a Steam Machine reservation email about a month after ending up on the waitlist (I’m sadly in the US).
Damn, that email meant I missed the draw?

I own three Steam Decks and my account was made when Half Life 2 released. I have been “past” the wait-list on both the Machine and the Frame.
Like, oh well, but still.

What are y’alls thoughts for when the next wave for reservations may go out? What were Machine/Controller waitlists like? This is my first foray into Steam lotteries.

The controller page gives an estimate now (the one someone sent me just said “2027” but that’s something, apparently for some it said a specific month in 2026). Maybe after the first batch of reservations is fully sold the frame page will be updated similarly. Though if the website in the OP doesn’t have some major sampling bias, it doesn’t seem unlikely that the next batch will cover the remaining pre-registrations. Though when that batch will be not even valve might know right now.
In the queue for a 1TB (USA). I hope everyone gets their reservation in the coming weeks!
