I own three Steam Decks and my account was made when Half Life 2 released. I have been “past” the wait-list on both the Machine and the Frame.
Like, oh well, but still.

No one looked at the RG DS and thought “Nah, too much power for what I want to do with it.”
“Plus” should’ve had a chip set that could handle 4x res…
But, I guess I’ll wait to see some actual reviews.

RG DS doesn’t have enough horsepower for 3DS. Some select titles work but stock Android eats up any overhead it might’ve had.
The Ayn Thor can do more 3DS (and Wii U).

Grapple Dog and Yakuza 5. Grapple dog is more short sessions than Yakuza, so I’m playing that a bit more.

I used a Dell Thunderbolt dock to dock my Steam Deck with my third monitor at work, so when it gets slow I can play with my Dualsense I keep in the drawer at work.
It hasn’t been slow in a while but when it was, oh boy, I made some progress in my games.

This is a very tough question. Ask yourself, what is it worth and what value does this add to the user experience?
Like, I like the idea of the project. I’m not even mad they aren’t doing it for free but, like, fuck Man…
“We have not solidified a price point yet.”
Or something. “What value does this add”? Is Steam gonna allow me to decide what I want to pay like itch.io or something? Fuck, that feels like such a “we want to charge the absolute most we can with good intentions we promise,” statement.

Yeah, controller is really the only exciting thing.

The best of both worlds, I’ve got Flash Carts for all my retro consoles and I’m (slowly) working on ODEs for the others! In the cases where an ODE removes the disc drive, I have secondary consoles! My partner hates that the entertainment stand is covered in video games but loves that most of the boxed games are in storage!
And the bumpers are so much better too. Wish I could mod my deck with controller bumpers…
