Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•Smaller rally/racing games I recommend you try!
3·1 year agoFirst of all, what an incredibly detailed and cool post. Thanks for that!
I don’t enjoy racing games much (though I actually raced cars and motorcycles for a decade, and then sim raced for a few years), but it’s a great reminder to re play wipeout and the old school burnout games.
I will say, on a similarish but different note, I loved Snow runner. It’s a “get stuck in the mud” sim with friends. Their recent sequel is… Weird? Closer to truck Factorio. It’s not the same game imo but I appreciate the fresh view

1·2 years agoI have the J Saux dock. I hate how aggressive their marketing is, very astroturfy, but it has been good for my deck with some peripherals.

5·2 years agoIf they’re cheap and common games, I don’t think it’s a big deal to have fakes mixed in if it doesn’t bother the buyer either.
Now for more rare stuff, it matters more. Feels like mtg cards, where a certain threshold it should be graded for authenticity and condition

2·2 years agoSo I had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago. I spent a lot of one-handed time on the couch. Played some Shapez 2 with a mouse on the couch via the deck, I played some the Witness (goofily with one hand on my xbox controller), some Slay the Spire, and some Stray
Been nice to have the ability to not sit at my computer when it was too uncomfortable

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•What are your favourite casual games on the steam deck?
11·3 years agoThe second Ori is one of the absolute most powerful storylines I’ve ever experienced in a game. I can’t believe how good it was, especially because the first game had a very light story

Same, and still on the wait-list (me and my partner) for the Machine. Some rough luck for us!!
