It’s been years since I tried out Decky Loader on the Steam Deck. I love what it brings and enables. Unfortunately I had to reinstall the it every time Steam got an update; which is very often, because I use Steam Beta. I am thinking of installing it again, but it was annoying in the past.
Did this issue got resolved or would I need to use stable Steam if this bothers me?
You can install Decky on desktop linux as well, although the decky menus (and most of the plugins) will only work in big picture mode.
