How does it compare with Armada OS?

Cool project, and don’t mind me being a bit confused about it at first.
Because the developer writes it’s official when it’s a fork of the official.They take the binary SteamOS image and add a different kernel and some other auxiliary stuff to port Valve’s image to new devices.
That’s broadly similar to what Linux Mint does to Ubuntu or Bazzite does to Fedora. Sometimes this is referred as a remix instead of a fork.

That confused me until I read further.
But you are 100% right that this is an unofficial adaptation.I’m not the developer but my guess is that they want to distinguish this from Armada which is something like Bazzite but using Arch Linux where everything is recompiled.
