I just want this to push devs to crack the meta headsets wide open. Unlock the bootloader, let me flash SteamOS. I don’t want new hardware but I do want to be free of meta and the quest is the only thing keeping me there, even if it’s with a throw away account.
Fucking please. I have an index but bought a quest for my wife to be able to play with me and meta support is far and away the WORST support experience I have had in my entire life. It’s comically bad. Also steam link with the quest is rough, and I fucking refuse to give meta any money for games so it’s basically shelved at the moment.
Get this to be free of the Quest
