Replaying Final Fantasy 8 because why not :D

Playing the Final Fantasy 7 rebirth for a while now. I’m not really enjoying it, they just don’t make good final fantasy games anymore.

The game plays at solid 30 fps but the graphics can become severely blurred at times.

We finished Split Fiction recently, it was fantastic.

We tried Unravel Two yesterday but I found it a bit underwhelming, not sure it will stick.

You should be able to play just fine with Arch Linux… The SteamOS is based on arch after all.

I guess it depends on what you’re going to do with it. I own a Steam deck and love it, but the screen is too small to work.

I would rather buy a small laptop, install arch and go wild. To each their own.

When it happens I will. Currently, installing SteamOS with a nvidia card just borks.

I understand that people are hyped about a Linux distribution developed by a company they really care about. However, please be aware that SteamOS is focused at being an (almost) exclusive gaming OS with very limited hardware support. It doesn’t support NVIDIA video cards, for instance.

Steam already runs perfectly fine in most generalist distributions and you’ll have a wonderful time if you install them.

SpiritFarer is an amazing deal if you haven’t played it yet. Super recommend it.

I finally bought Kingdom Hearts. The price is steep, let’s see if it pays off.

This is really nice for games optimized for the touch screen such as Football Manager or Magic the Gathering. Holding the deck with one hand and playing with the other is uncomfortable after a while.

This looks like a much, much nicer solution. Unfortunately shipping to Portugal alone is 71 euros making this a truly unreasonable price for me. Hopefully they get really popular and come to Europe!
