I’m more of an classic RE guy, and maybe it’s nostalgia, but there is something that feels like home with these graphics. I’ve seen some modern games emulate them very well and with the right design they can crank up the creepy/scary factor.

Minecraft for sure. Every other game I can still play and feel more or less the same.
Even though I was older when I first played Minecraft, I never felt the same feeling as the first 2 or 3 times.
I actually miss this. I know there are still out there games with silly concepts, but think about this: unicycles racing against each other and that’s about it. lol
