Built a Firefox extension for managing tab sessions. The core feature: save all open tabs as a named snapshot, close them, restore later with one click.
Tech: uses browser.storage.local for all persistence (no IndexedDB, no sync). The storage key is a simple JSON array of {name, tabs: [{url, title}]}. Sessions survive Firefox restarts.
The use case I built it for: I work across different client projects and wanted named workspaces — save ‘Project A tabs’, switch to ‘Project B tabs’, restore either context instantly.
